You are a lucky person. I often wondered what Iceland was like. I can just imagine the types of migrating fowl that it must have. I read a documentary book that had the sad tale of Greenland in it. How it was so populated by farms and such until the temperature cooled to the point where nothing would grow. New England in the USA had a whole year with frost or snow every month; 1815 if i remember correctly. NO – – – I was not there!!!!!!!! Maybe I should change my picture. Take care.

Every fall, for instance, sanderlings migrate from their nesting area in Greenland to Iceland, and then further.
