Embarrassed performer

I am obliged to sing a song, teach a class or do a reading; some type of public performance.

I am never prepared.

I dream that I have been asked to sing.  Well – – – I can’t sing and never practiced and I don’t know the words.

If teaching I have no idea what I am supposed to teach for that session.

If reading in public I have not practiced the reading I am supposed to do.

In all cases I stammer and stumble on my performance and never really get too far into it before the dream fades.

Or I die of embarrassment; whichever comes first.

(Additional dreams will be published in the following days. In the meantime you may check out my books – – HERE – – if you wish.)
