My sorties into the field were meant to keep Vang Khan safe and also to convince him of my worth. However, after each danger was removed, Vang Khan allowed Yemuka and Sankum to enter his court and listened to their lies.
They insisted that I was only waiting for the proper moment to take over his territory and his court. Many of these lies were doubtlessly true. However, they were greatly exaggerated and this made Vang Khan determined to put me in my place.
I was not about to go quietly!
