There was a Crow Indian chief, way back in time,
whose story is unbelievable; unless told in rhyme,
he saw an apparition, that walked on a lake,
however, he told no one, for it kept him awake.
For two moons time – no sleep – night or day,
chief wished the apparition would go away,
over-night the Crow Chief appeared to age,
so, he went to the mountain; on pilgrimage.
He stayed there, and, observed all spiritual laws –
such as wearing crow feathers and cougar’s claws.
He fought with himself in refined argument,
determining, what was of use and important,
however, his deliberations ended in defeat and grief,
the apparition would not vanish – to give him relief.
